Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of every website, application, API and service ("Services") operated by Harpreet Singh ("we", "us"), including those listed at hsingh.app and any product that runs on its own domain and links to these Terms. By creating an account, making a purchase, or using a Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using a Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase a paid plan.

2. Plans, billing and renewals

• Prices are shown in US dollars on each product's pricing page and on hsingh.app, exclusive of taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You authorise us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next renewal after the notice period.
• Usage-based (metered) plans are billed for the usage recorded in the billing period at the rates shown on the product's pricing page.
• If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. Access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds.

3. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to: break the law or infringe others' rights; send spam or unsolicited messages; upload malware or attempt to breach security; capture or process content you are not permitted to access; circumvent rate limits or quotas; resell a Service without written permission; or generate, store or distribute content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or promotes violence. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without refund.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of everything you upload, render or generate through the Services. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and deliver it to you. We do not sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you submit and for complying with data-protection law regarding personal data you process through the Services.

6. APIs and fair use

API keys are personal to your account. Rate limits and quotas are stated on each plan. We may throttle abusive traffic to protect service quality. Free tiers are provided as-is and may be changed or withdrawn.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, add or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid Service entirely we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid, unused portion.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, their code, design and branding are owned by Harpreet Singh or licensed to us. Open-source components are licensed under their respective licences as stated in their repositories.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of data, profits or business. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or if required by law. On termination your right to use the Services ends; you may export your data for 30 days unless the termination was for abuse.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice in the product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Harpreet Singh is resident and registered for tax, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally; most issues are settled by email within a few days.
